Engine Remanufacturing

Mid South Engine & Machine, LLC. has one of the largest remanufacturing centers in our area. All remanufactured engines are subjected to strenuous testing, including our 1,400 Horsepower Power Test Dynamometer. When you receive your remanufactured unit, it is ready to go to work, broken-in and leak free. We call it CPR - Certified Power Rebuild.

We also keep Caterpillar industrial exchange units and Low Hour Used Engines ready, to keep your downtime to a minimum.

Engine Machine Services

Mid South is proud of our state of the art engine machine shop. We have the largest capacity equipment in the Ark-La-Tex area, with the ability to perform any type of engine machine shop service. 

These services include crankshaft grinding and polishing, surface grinding, block boring and honing, align boring, connecting rod reconditioning, cylinder head rebuilding, magnuflux crack detection, thermal cleaning, shot blasting, counterbore and liner seal area repairs

If your shaft or casting is cracked or damaged, we can offer remanufactured components to  get you back to work immediately with many items in stock.
